July 2023 Product Update

We are excited to announce that we have updated our product in July 2023 with some new features and improvements. Here are some of the highlights:

• We have improved our integration with Shopify, making it easier for you to manage your tax compliance across multiple channels. You can now sync your Shopify orders with Lovat and automatically calculate and report taxes for each order.
• We have expanded our list of supported countries, adding 10 new jurisdictions where you can use Lovat to comply with local tax regulations. You can now access tax rates, rules, and reports for these countries in your Lovat dashboard. See the complete list of countries here.
• We have added two new supported currencies: We have also added two more currencies to our list of supported currencies: LKR (Sri Lankan Rupee) and PYG (Paraguayan Guarani). You can now accept payments in these currencies and convert them to your base currency using the latest exchange rates from our reliable sources. See the complete list of currencies here. 
• We have updated our section on “Processing discounts in the Lovat API”. You can now apply discounts to your transactions using different methods, such as percentage or fixed amount. You can also specify whether the discount applies before or after tax calculation. Read more about how to use discounts in the Lovat API here.
• We have added a new feature: tax rate API. You can now use our API to retrieve the tax rates for any country or region, based on the product type, customer location, and other parameters. This will help you to calculate the correct amount of tax for each sale and avoid any errors or penalties.
